I was harassed, assaulted, and falsely arrested. If I had been recording him, maybe I wouldn’t have been thrown in jail for bull-crap charges. I was told I was being placed under arrest for resisting arrest. Ha! (Shouldn’t you have to do something to be placed under arrest in order to resist it?)
Anyway, I exited my vehicle with my hands above my head, which was an aggressive action in the officer’s opinion, according to my ticket. Then, he ran to me and shoved me, telling me to get back into my truck. I said, “There’s no need to put your hands on me, sir.” I had complied with his every request. besides to roll my window all the way down, which wasn’t against the law last time I checked. I even had both hands on top of the steering wheel for his safety, but he stated that I also did this aggressively.
After he shoved me and I turned around to get back in my truck, he tackled me and started hitting me over and over, with what I assume was his club, leaving multiple bruises. Then I got to go to jail, where he was still trying to add more charges. This isn’t right in my opinion, but what can I do about this? Really, was this all because I pissed him off over the window, or was it more? The officer is clearly very dangerous and should not be able to wear a badge – also another opinion of mine. Peace Officer? Yeah, right.
If he had simply said, “You’re under arrest,” then I would have put my hands behind my back willingly – but he used force and hit me (with whatever the item was) multiple times, saying, “Quit resisting.” Cops are filthy, filthy people. Oh, also, I only left my truck to ask him to hurry with the ticket. He never gave me a chance to speak before he was in my face, I had somewhere to be and the traffic stop had taken at least 15 mins; that’s just the time he spent in the car writing my ticket and talking to his cop buddies, wasting time. Instead, I got assaulted, and what do I see after I’m in the cruiser? A fully filled out traffic ticket! Be aware of the police, people. Please comment with your views or ideas, negative or positive.
